ERRA accepts applications from both members and non-members. Age and other requirements vary based on position.
Lifeguards: You must meet the certification requirements listed below to be considered for a lifeguard position. ERRA welcomes experienced or newly certified lifeguards.
| Required Certifications and Training Certification is available through Red Cross training, held at various locations in Rockingham County and Harrisonburg City
All lifeguards must be current with all of the following certifications:
Bring copies of your certifications with you on your first day! You can not work without your certifications on file. |
Snack Shack: ERRA also hires non-certified individuals to assist in the snack shack. If you are interested in working in that area, be sure to note it on the application below. Snack shack employment is open to those age 14+ with a valid worker's permit.
Assistant Manager: Lifeguarding certification preferred, as managers sometimes need to step into rotation. Experience in guarding required. Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis.
